Rebecca and Estevan

HOW IT STARTED

Having known each other passively for a few years, Rebecca and Estevan would say they actually MET one another for the first time at Sasquatch! 2010. Here they were able to share their love for music with one another. From that point forward neither two would be the same again.  First known photo of the two above.

Through the years the two have traveled the world, mainly for music, as well as to see, experience, and explore! No matter the event, there is always a compassion and consideration the two share probing to be an invaluable tool, especially in the most chaotic, unnerving or even awkwardest moments. Take FYF 2011 for example; a small one-day (at the time) festival in the heart of Los Angeles. Having been to quite a few shows and festivals together, the two decided that they would do what they always would and go dressed up.... unfortunately neither was given the memo on how this particular festival was intended for Los Angeles fashionistas, and yes at a festival with thousands of people they were the only two in costume.

With anyone else this experience would be enough to send someone in debilitating shock, however the two laughed it off and proceeded as if there was not a care in the world...because there wasn't, (See photo to the top right for proof.)

Since then they escapades have even landed them in magazines and newspapers as their enjoyment is quickly infectious. (As seen from SF Magazine photo to the right)

THE PROPOSALS

On December 21st, 2015 (Winter Solstice) Estevan FINALLY proposed to Rebecca. The two were at the top of a hill overlooking the Phoenix ZOO known as "Hunt's Tomb," (the pyramid in the background).

Rebecca wanting to keep things "fair and balanced" decided that she too would ask Estevan to marry her. She whisked him away to Taos, New Mexico on Summer Solstice 2016 and proposed to him in an EarthShip... Yes it's as cool as it sounds.

ENTER MAGIK ISLAND

In 2008, Estevan was able to visit Magik Island for the first time. It was a rare occurrence but one that was held deeply for all those in attendance.

The splendor and oddity of its existence in an otherwise unassuming mountain town turned the story of that night into lore. Anyone who would indulge Estevan in this tale would quickly dismiss its outlandish premise... and who could blame them. The only way to describe it was something akin to Neverland (the far-off magikal place, not the ranch).

It would take 8 more years for this property to re-enter their lives. And as quickly as it did they knew this was the place to hold their special ceremony.

WITH LOVE & GRATITUDE

After 7 years, two proposals, nearly a hundred music festivals, and countless concerts, Rebecca and Estevan decided to put on an event of their own.

With all of their loved ones in close support, the two set out to capture an experience that was once only held as a far-off dream. Now the universe had blessed the two with an opportunity that would forever be cherished and remembered with nothing but tenderness and the most sincerest gratitude.

From the bottom of our beings, thank you for helping make this a moment we will never forget.
